Honeymoon in Kauai, July 2010. This was undoubtedly the most relaxing vacation I’ve ever taken - two weeks of rest mixed with a little adventure.
Most of the rope-swinging you see above was from a cool little area called Kipu Falls. There’s also a scene where we swing into what will apparently be the Fountain of Youth in Pirates of the Caribbean 4 (they were filming while we were down there). I also swung in the place where Indiana Jones gets chased by some natives in the intro to Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Can’t say enough good things about the Dilly Dally House either. Great people, beautiful grounds, and amazing breakfasts every morning. They even let me borrow a ukulele to play by the pool (I ended up buying one as a souvenir).
